Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our Risk360 product. The ideal candidate will deeply understand cloud-based data platforms and have a proven track record of building and scaling high-performance, reliable systems.
Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience working with software development and enterprise data warehouse solutions
• Experience in Core Java, Concurrency and Distributed Computing, and some Python would be a plus.
• Experience in building high-performance, scalable microservices and API Gateways
• Working experience in cloud infrastructure services on AWS/Azure/GCP and ability to learn, evaluate, and adopt new technologies
• Experience using batch and stream processing frameworks like Spark/Kafka Streaming, Spring batch, or equivalent
• Proficiency with Maven (preferred) or Gradle build and dependency management systems.
• 5 years of experience writing unit tests, stubs, and mocks in a TDD environment using JUnit, REST Assured, or TestNG
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo
• Metrics-driven development experience and expertise using metrics systems like Grafana, Prometheus, etc
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to learn, evaluate, and adopt new technologies fast.

Desired skills

• Ability to write code that can perform efficiently in a big data setup
• Strong knowledge of various DBMS systems, including NoSQL architectures and design principles
• Experience in working on the Spark platform - building a Spark infrastructure
• Understanding of statistics and machine learning (will be a plus)

Education

• BS Computer Science or higher

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) benefits.
Base Pay Range
$175,000-$200,000 USD
