IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Position Description:

The IT Support Technician operates in a team environment to provide system support, maintain network security policy, and assist in network upgrades. This person is skilled in creativity and ingenuity to fix complex solutions and develop plans for future growth.

This role is primarily responsible for helping users solve issues with software and hardware, facilitate onboarding of Windows and iPad devices, and help maintain the network infrastructure of the company

Reporting Relationship:

This position reports to IT Manager

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with users and management to solve issues
• Ability to multitask projects and day-to-day operations
• Pulling cables indoors for inner office expansion
• Follow and develop best practices around data security and integrity
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• One to two years of experience in IT support/Desktop Support
• Customer service experience
• Basic knowledge of networking infrastructure
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Learn quickly and adapt to rapidly changing environments
• Comfortable working independently and closely with a team
• Work remotely at least one day per week
• Attention to detail
• Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships
• Accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment
• Communicate any issues or concerns to management
• Maintain confidential and meticulous records

Education/Experience Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Science required or equivalent education or experience.
• A minimum of one to two years related experience in an IT related position

Physical Requirements

On a normal workday, the employee is required to constantly stand, sit, and walk; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; infrequently squat, kneel, reach above shoulder level, and lift from high/low position; bend, push, or pull. Constant use of hands required for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and/or typing.

Pay $24hr - $25hr
