Would be visiting the operational centers to understand fallouts, work closely with App team and architects to identify gaps, address immediate improvements and create a roadmap to improve resiliency.
Strategic Alignment:
· Collaborates with business leadership, experts and SMEs to establish portfolio, value stream strategies and customer journeys
· Drives specification and standardization of platforms, technologies, design approaches, methodologies, and tooling across lines of business / value streams/ customer journeys
· Implements technology initiatives across lines of business/value streams/customer journeys
· Understand and communicate strategy and key business drivers for architecture, to technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Collaborates with Lean Portfolio Management / COMPASS Portfolio Management to provide a high-level vision and assist with financial assessments of enterprise initiatives
Reuse & Cost Optimization:
· Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns; Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices
Cross Tower Architectural Leadership:
· Establishes technical vision, end to end solution (E2E) designs and drives architectural initiatives
· Works closely with the solution architects, application architects and system engineers to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives
· Synchronize system, data security, resiliency, scalability, performance, and other non-functional requirements (NFRs) across solutions, value streams and customer journeys
Skills :
Applied Enterprise Architecture Experience:
o Shop & Purchase – Account Management (SalesForce), Commerce as a Service (Cart, Order, Compliance), Customer Contact Management, Credit / Decisioning, Search / Front End Support, Identity Management and Omni-Catalog (Product & Order Catalog).
o Onboarding & Activate – Order Processing & Storage
o Service & Support – Technical Care, Mobility Core, Messaging Core
o Close & Separate – Subscriber Management
o Billing – Billing Care, Collections, Invoicing, Revenue Management, Usage Rating & Bill Events
· Masters Degree in Computer Science, EE or equivalent
· 10 years of experience related to technical architecture and product design
· Must have strong software development, software architect and technical lead experience delivering large scale software products over a significant number of releases
· Must have strong technical background as a software platform architect and engineer
· Must have designed solutions that meet availability needs based on application functional and non-functional requirements.
· Experience with Scrum, Kanban and SAFe Agile practices, release trains / program increments and strong aptitude to work in a DevOps culture and environment.
· Must have full-stack development experience building application software, test automation, and infrastructure as code, relational and NOSQL database technologies
· Must have strong oral and written communication skills
· 10 years of relevant work experience working with SOAP and REST APIs / microservices design.
· Applied experience with container-based platforms including Kubernetes, Docker, Container Instances, HELM charts, and related technologies.
· Familiarity with OWASP and integrations with static code analysis tools such as Veracode, Sonar, Blackduck, and dynamic code analysis tools.
