* Job Description:*
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in estimating industrial and commercial painting jobs both onsite and through blueprint analysis on the computer. This position requires travel to various project sites, excellent sales skills, and the ability to work independently.
*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct onsite assessments to accurately estimate the scope and cost of industrial and commercial painting projects.
- Utilize computer software to analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements for estimating purposes.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bids, proposals, and cost estimates for potential projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project pricing and specifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to generate new business opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the estimating process.
*Requirements:*
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the industrial or commercial painting industry.
- Ability to estimate projects both onsite and through blueprint analysis on the computer.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Proficiency in computer software for estimating and project management.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
