Responsibilities

Responsibilities:  

• Develop and maintain both configuration and code-based solutions in the IndeVets Salesforce application
• Work with the Salesforce Architect to create and implement the best technical solutions for new features and other enhancements
• Assist with solving technical problems as they’re encountered
• Help address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions from end users and customers
• Write and execute unit tests as part of the development lifecycle

Competencies: 

• Experience designing Salesforce integrations with external systems including HubSpot, iCIMS, and in-house operational applications 
• Familiarity with the full suite of reporting capabilities of Salesforce
• Experience with Salesforce configuration/declarative work, Apex development, Salesforce Maps, and Salesforce CRM Analytics
• Experience working with Agile teams and use of tools such as Jira, GitHub
• High initiative – Figures out the next best action without being told 
• Grace under pressure – Able to manage a high volume of work with competing deadlines 
• Autonomous and self-governing – Ability to work independently with some direction 
• Self-starter who can work with a small energetic management team
• Cooperative spirit and customer-service oriented – Seeks to build rapport with stakeholders

Required Education/Experience 

• 3 years of experience of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer using
• Apex and Lightning (Aura / LWC) development
• JSON/XML
• Batch and Queueable Apex
• Custom objects, fields, VR, WFR, Process Builder Smart Lists, Flow
• Strong technical aptitude 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Physical requirements include sedentary work that primarily involves sitting / standing and prolonged periods of working on the computer 
• Salesforce.com Administrator certification

Preferred Skills / Experience  

• Experience with Salesforce CRMa 
• Salesforce PD1 certification
• Staffing related experience 
• Previous experience managing high volume operation activities 
• Project Management experience 

Language Ability 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
