Description

• Support pricing functions through key Model Risk Management projects
• Create consistent documentation across all products we sell, minimizing key person risk and enhancing our knowledge transfer during rotations
• Enhance standards and execute on 1st line review and testing
• Ensure documentation both describes model execution procedures and facilitates change management
• Help users understand key risk drivers, assumptions, build process, and implementation/production through documentation
• Perform ongoing monitoring of model usage and changes, revising documentation where needed
• Work with Model Risk Management on addressing 2nd line of review and model validation findings

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working in actuarial or actuarial services functions (5 years of experience preferred)
• Work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Quick learner with an ability to understand the products we sell and how our models differ from one another
• Previous modeling experience required; Prophet modeling preferred
• Strong written communication with an ability to dissect complex technical information and provide documentation that is clear to all users
• Strong project management skills required with a focus on details

Salary range: $58,500-$85,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Starting salary is dependent upon several factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, and/or skills required.
