Inari Medical is Hiring a Desktop Support Technician III Near Irvine, CA

Description

The Desktop Support Technician III works under direct supervision while playing a key role in the organization’s IT environment; specifically, toward the responsibility of the administration, support, and maintenance of company-wide IT desktop/laptop and mobile devices.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain Global Address List (GAL).
  • Support compliance and audit programs.
  • Support for company and IT-dependent events.
  • Support cybersecurity and data protection programs.
  • Train new hires on basic access and computer usage.
  • Provide desktop-laptop and mobile device hardware support.
  • Participate in internal, departmental, and enterprise-wide projects.
  • Write user documentation to systems as needed for all audiences.
  • Provide support of infrastructure connectivity (Wi-Fi, ethernet, VPN, etc.)
  • Serve as the company’s first point of contact for any system-related issue.
  • Provide operating systems (Windows/MacOS), Office Apps (O365) and other application software support.
  • Provide mobile equipment (cell phones, tables, etc.) and relevant operating systems/ application support.
  • Participate in planning, installation, implementation, configuration, modification of equipment and software.
  • Procure IT equipment and services by maintaining communications with vendors and third-party solutions providers.
  • Liaise with internal customers to identify problem, gather information, and utilize support tools/additional support staff, as needed.
  • Provide support for other peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and audio-visual systems throughout the facility.
  • Other duties assigned, as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR relevant work experience.
  • Any industry recognized certifications desired (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)
  • Minimum one-year previous experience as a desk agent or desktop support technician.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of midsized business IT experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Office 365 and Cloud applications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with PC/MacOS, iPhone, Android.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Procurify preferred.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA/ITSM/Confluence/StatusPage).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with desktop level hardware and operating environments.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience LAN/WAN/VPN/ hybrid cloud knowledge and configuration experience.
  • Knowledge of multifactor authentication techniques and products; experience with OKTA preferred.
  • DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP & other network protocols.
  • Strong task-management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; hyper customer service oriented.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Intermediate administration of Microsoft of Active Directory (user/groups, policies, etc.)
  • Intermediate administration of O365 Microsoft Exchange (mailboxes, distribution lists, etc.)
  • Plan, organize, and document complex systems while complying with current policies and procedures.
  • Author of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, policies, and other departmental documentation.
  • Thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
