Sr. Accountant - $85,000 to $95,000 Bonus

Growing specialty real estate company seeking a motivated Sr. Accountant to work in a growing organization in central Scottsdale. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, with a keen interest or relevant experience in financial statement, GAAP and variance analysis. Candidate will gain meaningful experience and have a crucial role in various reporting functions of the entities where attention to detail and adhering to deadlines is vital. The opening is immediate.

Hybrid remote – 2 to 3 days in office to start with flexibility.

Position Responsibilities:

• Financial statement preparation for each property according to GAAP
• Prepare cash forecast and estimates for multiple properties
• Bank reconciliations and reporting for portfolio
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliation and variance analysis
• Review, AP, payroll and billing entries

Skills and Abilities:

• Sound understanding of GAAP accounting
• Experience property accounting software a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines on a regular/recurring basis
• Strong organizational, and analytical skills

Education and Relevant Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or related role required
