- BS Degree Accounting, Finance or Related Discipline Required
- 3-5 Years of experience (public accounting background preferred)
- CPA Preferred
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Attention to detail and good organization skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
- High degree of integrity and professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively communicate with different groups across campus including management
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting, Finance, and Corporate laws functions
- Possess solid knowledge of US tax concepts
- Possess ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Strong knowledge of general corporate income tax
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Corporate income tax compliance (Tax provision preparation, assistance with third party provider on corporate federal return and state returns)
- Individual compliance (Preparation of various 1040s as well as assistance with third party provider)
- Sales and use tax compliance (preparations and fillings of monthly returns)
- Personal property tax compliance (preparation and filling of returns)
- Preparation of partnership returns
- Assistance with merger and acquisitions
- Preparation of Trust Returns
- Perform tax research and projects
