Position: Radiation Therapist

Our Award Winning Client is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join their team. Our client, renowned for its excellence in healthcare, operates nationally and has been honored with numerous awards. This is a full-time onsite position with paid relocation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by medical professionals.
• Interact with patients, medical staff, and families, demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including new Elekta Versa with VMAT, wide bore GE CT, and PET CT.
• Collaborate with experienced therapists and medical professionals.
• Educate patients, medical staff, and the public on the use and benefits of radiation therapy.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation Therapist
• Knowledge of department functions and radiation therapy techniques
• Continuing education as prescribed by JCAHO and A.R.R.T.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a Radiation Oncology Department
• Technical proficiency with radiation therapy equipment

Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday

Interview Steps:

1. Reviewed & Screened by Talent Acquisition Partner
2. Teams/Telephone interview scheduled with Dept. Director, Manager & team
3. Requirement for on-site interview will be determined after Teams/Telephone interview is completed
4. If on-site interview is required, a potential offer will be presented. If acceptable to the candidate, we will make travel arrangements for the candidate.
