Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Manager to oversee and ensure the quality of our construction projects. The QC/QA Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and testing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control and quality assurance in the construction industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for construction projects.
• Conduct inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review and approve project quality plans, submittals, and inspection reports.
• Identify and document non-conformance issues and develop corrective actions to address them.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and project schedules.
• Provide training and support to project teams on quality control procedures and requirements.
• Maintain and update project quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality plans, and test results.
• Prepare and submit quality control reports to project stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality control and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality control procedures and policies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to quality control and quality assurance, such as ISO 9001, ASTM, and ACI.
• Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to quality control and quality assurance.
• Certification in quality control/quality assurance, such as CQM or CQE, is a plus.
