Description

We are a growing manufacturer seeking a Full-Time General Warehouse Lead to manage a broad range of duties, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm. We are looking for a dependable individual who can implement efficient processes, accurately track inventory, and who thrives in a dynamic work environment of frequently changing priorities. The Warehouse Lead will receive shipments, drive a forklift, manage inventory, pick/pack/kit parts, prepare pallets for shipment, load trucks with the forklift, and be responsible for shipment documentation. This is a growth role with the opportunity to implement an ERP system and develop into a Warehouse Manager with direct reports. 

Responsibilities

· Manage inventory counts and maintain traceability

· Continuously improve upon current warehousing operations

· Shipping/Receiving - Receive shipments, inspect for and report damages, perform counts. Ship materials by picking, packing, kitting, and loading

· Manage resources to ensure deadlines are met in a dynamic environment 

· Work with Purchasing to follow up on past due orders

· Ensures a safe and clean work environment by keeping the warehouse tidy and organized 

· Able to communicate issues, recommend improvements, and follow best practices 

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills

· Experience with Inventory documentation required

· Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred (development and implementation a plus)

· Experienced in the safe operation of a forklift

· Mechanically inclined, with the ability to read drawings, is preferred

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Personnel management experience preferred

· Basic Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Database experience a plus

· Barcoding and rapid data entry

· Reporting skills 

· Inventory control 

· Documentation skills 

· Good communication skills 

· Dependability 

Education and Licensing 

· Associates Degree, or equivalent experience

· Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record 

· Willingness to submit and pass background check and drug screening
