CUSTOMER SERVICE REP (Inside Sales)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Rep provides customer service by answering questions, researching products, and turning quotes into sales. They also support Sales Engineers with quoting and proposal assistance while developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with vendors who are essential to meet branch and customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide inside sales and customer service support for customers with quoting, order entry, billing, product sourcing, vendor assistance, and general follow-up.
• Assist in maintaining good vendor relations at the branch location level.
• Maintain open, productive communication between corporate, other branches, and department managers.
• Promote a positive attitude to co-workers, branches, vendors, and customers.
• Promote all products and services.
• Maintain open communication and quickly and effectively resolve problems.
• Maximizes all sales opportunities by ensuring high levels of customer service.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions and information.
• Ability to calculate discounts & percentages.
• Ability to specify technical products and to provide technical sales information.
• Strong PC and software skills with the ability to use technology to improve efficiency and effectively communicate information, including, but not limited to Microsoft Suites.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and process instrumentation major plus!

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial inside sales and customer service.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
