Position Summary: Manages accounting functions within accounts payable, including maintenance of general ledger. Position ResponsibilitiesDevelops implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines. Provides accounting assistance to Directors, Managers and staffResponds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs. Processes vendor invoices and employee expense reportsReconciles and codes MasterCard purchasing card charges onlineHandles vendor questions and vendor account reconciliationsResearches accounts payable issues with various department personnel Month end activities including AP, corporate card and purchasing card accruals Local card manager for PNC prepaid debit card programAssist sport departments and business managers with accounts payable needs for tournaments Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codesOther duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experienceExperience in an AP functionExperience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good presentation skills for educating internal clients on accounting principles Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize workHighly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projectsAbility to multi task in a fast-paced organization A superior work ethicDesire to work collaboratively with colleagues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred SkillsBilingual
