iLocatum is Hiring a Bilingual Medical Assistant Near Winter, FL

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant who is fluent in Spanish to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and performing administrative duties. While no experience is necessary, previous medical assistant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in both English and Spanish
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
  • Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient records
  • Assist physician with medical procedures and treatments
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Assist with insurance verification and billing as necessary
  • Translate for Spanish-speaking patients and physicians as needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Spanish is Highly Preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification is REQUIRED
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
