Open Until FilledReporting to the Chief Education Officer - Instructional Education, provides leadership and advocates for equity for all students, in particular special education students, multilingual students, and children in early childhood settings; integrates and executes the policies and expectations of the State Board of Education as the Executive Director of Specialized Instruction; directs, oversees and administers programs, operations and staff; provides leadership and support to school districts, and other educational organizations throughout Illinois; provides leadership in cross functional department work (e.g., Student Care, IL Empower, Curriculum & Instruction) and develops center budget.
