Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive threats to inform strategic decision-making.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Prospect, cultivate, and close new business opportunities with clients, brokers, agents, and other distribution channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance carriers, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.
Partnership Development and Collaboration:
Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with complementary businesses, vendors, and affinity groups to expand market reach and drive business growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and initiatives.
Sales Leadership and Team Management:
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to sales professionals to enhance their performance and professional development.
