IIE Organization is Hiring a Remote Program Analyst, Corporate & Foundation Programs (Hybrid)

Job Description:

The Program Analyst helps administer a dynamic global fellowship program within the Corporate and Foundation Programs team and contributes to multiple aspects of the program lifecycle. This may include serving as the first point of contact for potential individual or organizational grantees, advising and monitoring services, and coordinating events. The Program Analyst is responsible for compliance with program specifications and participant monitoring, which requires proficiency in IIE systems and processes.

The Program Analyst will join a dynamic team that is responsible for program implementation and communications support in IIE’s capacity as a primary partner to the Ford Foundation on the Ford Global Fellowship. The FGF Program aims to connect and support the next generation of social justice leaders worldwide who are advancing innovative solutions to end inequality. The FGF Program is Ford’s 10-year, $50 million dollar commitment to create a collaborative, participatory and impactful global fellowship program. The program was launched in 2020 and is structured to evolve over time, so the team is looking for a creative and collaborative program analyst with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to aid in this next phase of the program.

The Institute of International Education (“IIE”) has a hybrid work environment that allows team members a combination of in-office work and telework at any of the locations listed above.

Essential Functions:
  • Monitors, tracks, and reports on applicant or participant progress and outcomes and program compliance, as applicable. Manages small grant application cycles within the program.
  • Advises participants on program policies and may be responsible for travel arrangements, visa requirement gathering, and reporting obligations.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, including pre-applicants, applicants, participants, alumni, program partners, and/or third-party vendors, to provide key information via email and web platforms, depending on program requirements.
  • Maintains participant and programmatic data and records in relevant systems, such as IIE’s grantee management platform (CRM), Ford’s G-Suite, and Monday.com, following established processes.
  • Works with program team in the planning and implementation of seasonal program lifecycle components to provide individualized support to Fellows, partners and consultants as needed based on the program needs.
  • Proactively research program elements that will help guide implementation improvements, such as vendors in future Gathering destinations. Assists with procurement and liaises with vendors and external partners as needed.
  • Oversees all aspects of virtual events management, ensuring that overall design and vision aligns with technical implementation. This includes following established processes to support virtual event participation and planning.
  • Supports the successful implementation of all fellowship program components
Education and Work Experience:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree and at least five years of related work experience, or combination education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience working internationally with staff and/ or organizations that serve diverse stakeholders. Intercultural competence and ability to manage fellow challenges and emergencies.
  • Demonstrated project management, time management, and administrative skills.
  • Strong interest and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of team members and partners.
  • Ability to exercise discretion on confidential matters.
  • Preferred: An understanding of global fellowship and grant-making work.

Salary Range:$55,043 - $63,988. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
