Work Location: Sunnyvale, California

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our B2B growth and expansion in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of clinical knowledge and a strong network within the healthcare industry, particularly with primary care doctors, medical billing entities, insurance companies, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), and local medical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to enhance market presence and penetration.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with primary care physicians, medical billing entities, IPAs, healthcare systems, and insurance providers.
  • Embrace the company value and advocate for our remote patient monitoring services to establish collaborations with partners and clients.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand our reach and impact in the healthcare community.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure alignment of business strategies with patient care objectives.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to build contacts and stay abreast of market trends.
  • Provide regular feedback and market intelligence to the management team to inform ongoing strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Healthcare Administration). A clinical background (such as nursing, allied health, or similar) is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical billing, medical office management, medical payor systems required **
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Established network within the local healthcare community, including primary care doctors, IPAs, and medical systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital health technologies and remote patient monitoring systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% for business requirements.
  • Experience with using CRMs such as hubspot and Zoho CRM.
