A General Manager with IDM Hospitality must be a true entrepreneur in every sense of the word and the epitome of what a leader should be. Maintaining a balance of successful oversight of the daily hotel operations and property profitability while simultaneously providing dynamic and ethical leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver memorable guest service beyond guest’s expectations, is an everyday quest for this role
Minimum Qualifications:
A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related fields, coupled with 4 years of hands-on experience; or
A 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related fields, with 2 years of hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Effectively managing all hotel operations, including budgeting, strategic planning, and service quality.
Overseeing sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth.
Maintaining high levels of guest and associate satisfaction.
Developing and mentoring team members.
Conducting recruitment, interviews, and training as needed.
Monitoring service quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Acting as the primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities.
Additional Duties:
Improving the professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of guest services throughout the property.
Ensuring IDM Hospitality's operational standards are consistently upheld.
Leading the annual business planning and budgeting process.
Collaborating with IDM Hospitality in associate recruitment and onboarding.
Implementing human resource development activities to enhance team cohesion.

Business & Marketing Expertise:
You will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive Hotel Business & Marketing Plan, including P&L, Direct Sales, Advertising, Marketing, PR, Revenue Management, Ecommerce, On-line Reputation Management, Hotel F&B, and Hotel Programming. Your focus will be on driving key performance indicators such as RevPAR, RevPAR index, Revenue per guest, and, if applicable, the Food & Beverage experience. You'll also be tasked with maximizing Gross Operating Profit, Flow through, and NOI per key.
