ICO Group is Hiring an Assistant Controller Near Los Angeles, CA
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and internal control policies.
**Qualifications:**
- 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
-Real Estate Management background a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Yardi experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate with the Controller to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Help streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Participate in the development of budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee internal control procedures and identify areas for improvement.
