Summary

Primarily responsible for supporting senior construction engineers with duties including but not limited to; planning, designing construction plans and specifications, managing the day-to-day construction process ensuring compliance, and completing all tasks assigned by the Construction Engineering Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related area.
• 0 – 2 years of experience in construction engineering or similar roles.
• Forklift Experience (required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of basic construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
• Knowledge of engineering software and tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Basic understanding of construction engineering principles and practices.

Essential Functions

• Assist senior engineers in planning and executing building construction projects.
• Help in estimating project costs and timelines.
• Adhere to safety regulations and engineering best practices.
• Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure the integrity and quality of building structures.
• Participate in the preparation and analysis of project blueprints and designs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
