Our Culinary Supervisor will support “A Seattle Collection”, a multi-property cluster comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.
The Culinary Supervisor must have basic understanding of kitchen operations within the hotel. The Supervisor is responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guest's needs in a timely manner. Our Culinary Supervisor has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of a Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills. May assist in monitoring payroll costs and overtime. Responsibilities include the supervisor of hourly cooks.
The hourly rate for this position is $28.75. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $29.33.

Qualifications:·Requires good communication skills
·4 years of previous line experience preferred
·Culinary leadership experience preferred.
·Understanding and experience in Culinary preferred.
·Culinary Degree or related hotel experience preferred.
·Candidates should be able to perform all basic, intermediate, and advanced cooking skills.
·Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
·Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including morning, afternoon, evenings shifts
·Must be able to work weekends and holidays
·Must have valid food handler’s card
