The ACCOUNTING STAFF/INCOME AUDITOR is responsible to audit daily revenue reports, prepare/post journal entries for month end in order to provide timely and accurate financial information to hotel executive management and perform other duties as needed,
The expected base wage range for this position is: $25 to $34 per hour and may be amended from time to time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, include but not limited to:
JOB KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: AA degree in accounting, or equivalent experience required. English fluency required. Must have minimum one year experience in basic accounting function. Must know ten keys by touch and be familiar with routine office procedures. Must be computer literate. Must display knowledge of currently accepted business phone etiquette. Prior Hotel experience preferred.
SKILLS AND APTITUDES: Detail oriented. Organized and efficient. Learns quickly. Safety-minded. High quality standards for production and service. Diplomatic and calm. Strong verbal communications skills. Courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Good team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision. Trustworthy and reliable. Must be able to work to deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands/walks approximately 10% of shift. Sits at desk or in meetings approximately 90% of shift. Uses personal computer approximately 80-90% of shift. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over short distances. Moderate to heavy use of phones, daily. Requires reading and computation.
