Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, managing a team of housekeeping staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, covering for the Executive.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage
- Oversee laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens
- Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management is highly desirable!!
