Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet customers and take their orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with catering events and banquets as needed
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your jurisdiction)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
