Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations. This includes managing inventory, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. Responsibilities:
- Manage all food and beverage operations, including dining areas, bars, and catering services
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory control and ordering processes
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff members to provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus and offerings
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for food and beverage purchases
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Familiarity with Micros or similar point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Knowledge of hotel or catering operations is a plus
