The Quality Assistant is responsible for assisting the Population Health team with meeting quality goals, containing cost and improving performance utilization. The assistant works closely with the practice based care managers, the physician practice managers and office staff for support with various quality initiatives. Provides clerical support of the quality team by uploading information to the various insurance portals, sorting and compiling reports for distribution to the quality team, assisting with gap and order correspondence electronically or telephonically. Maintain various quality forms for the physician practices. Assists in the education of new policies and procedures designed to enhance quality care. Ensures quality and regulatory standards are being met.
