In order to be considered, applicant must be experienced in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems to include site-survey, field routing of piping, drafting, hydraulic calculations, AHJ submittals, and material listing. Applicant must be proficient with AutoCad, HydraCad, or AutoSprink programs. Applicant will be required to pass background and drug screening. Duties:Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.Assist Design Manager with oversight, training, and mentoring of design staff.Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel. Qualifications:Three years’ experience in fire sprinkler designNICET Level II or higher certificationMust be familiar with NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.Technical understanding of fire sprinkler design including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systemsProficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK and MS Office programsTexas RME-G license a plus
