In order to be considered, applicant must be experienced in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems. Design to include site-survey, field routing of piping, drafting, hydraulic calculations, AHJ submittals, and material listing. Applicant must be proficient with AutoCad, HydraCad, or AutoSprink programs. Applicant will be required to pass background and drug screening. DUTIES:Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnelDesign code compliant and cost effective systems according to the scope of work and contract documents. QUALIFICATIONS:Two years’ experience in fire sprinkler designMust be familiar with NFPA Standards and FM Global GuidelinesTechnical understanding of fire sprinkler design including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge type systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK and MS Office programsNICET certification a plusTexas RME License a plus
