Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman

About the Role

This role reports to the Fire Sprinkler Service Manager and is located in Houston, TX. AFS is looking for Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman for immediate opportunities in Houston, TX. If you have experience with servicing, fire sprinkler systems including wet and dry systems than apply now.

What you’ll do (day to day)

• Achieve any tasks necessary to complete work on a given job site in a timely, effective manner.
• Read project drawings for correct installation.
• If necessary, work after hours or weekends.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Work in a safe manner as outlined by company or contractor’s safety procedures.
• On-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of our customers Fire Protection Systems.
• Identifying code and non-conformance issues.
• Servicing of Fire Protection Systems.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Applicable experience in either the fire protection or the commercial customer service business.
• A commercial sprinkler systems background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with pipe fitting, electrical work, and commercial sprinkler system fittings.
• Candidates must pass a drug screen.
• Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be able to show proof of work eligibility.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.
• Candidates must have a valid Texas driver's license.
• Candidates must be local to the Houston area.
• Candidates must have recent experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Normal work hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00AM – 4:00PM
