Are you a seasoned paralegal with a passion for family law seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Look no further! Our small firm practicing in Sacramento and Placer Counties is actively seeking a talented Family Law Paralegal to join our dedicated team.
Position: Family Law Paralegal Location: Sacramento Campus Commons area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, primarily dissolution of marriage and custody matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and maintain case files with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel and experts.
- Prepare for hearings, trials, and other proceedings under attorney supervision.
- Provide compassionate support to clients during challenging times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a family law paralegal.
- Proficiency in California family law procedures and forms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- Experience with Essential Forms and CFLR (Propertizer, DissoMaster, Executioner) software preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
