Real Estate Law Corporation specializes in real estate and business law, and we are looking to add an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team in downtown Sacramento, California.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must have experience in state court filing requirements, including e-filing.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit binders, and lodging exhibits with court.
• Experience creating, formatting and drafting pleadings, judicial council forms and other legal documents and correspondence as needed.
• Transcribe documents from dictation as needed.
• Process daily mail, and calendar critical litigation deadlines in legal software and Outlook.
• Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate & schedule appointments, depositions, mediations, etc.
• Manage attorney phone calls and emails.
• Perform conflict checks in legal software.
• Receives clients and parties arriving for appointments in office.
• Maintain client files, as well as digital archive systems.
• Performing client intake, client onboarding and answering phone calls as needed.
• Other duties relating to firm tasks and operations as requested by attorneys.

Skills:

• 5 years of paralegal experience required.
• Paralegal Certificate required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign required.
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
• Must demonstrate strong work ethic and consistent schedule.
• Knowledge of law firm legal software billing system preferred.
