Are you a seasoned Litigation Paralegal looking for a dynamic role that combines your legal expertise with your passion for justice? Our firm is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Permanent Litigation Paralegal. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging, high-stakes cases, collaborate with accomplished attorneys, and make a significant impact on our clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in our legal proceedings. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting extensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
2. Preparing and filing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
3. Providing comprehensive litigation support, including gathering and organizing evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
4. Utilizing e-discovery tools for efficient and effective document review.
5. Assisting in trial preparation, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and coordination of logistics.
6. Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings under the supervision of an attorney.
7. Managing and organizing case files and documents, ensuring all legal documents are properly filed and accessible.
8. Providing legal assistance to attorneys, including maintaining client relationships, scheduling meetings, and managing attorney calendars.
9. Drafting motions and pleadings, ensuring they are accurate and filed on time.
10. Assisting with legal administration tasks, including billing and reporting.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Litigation Paralegal position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
2. A strong understanding of legal research tools and techniques.
3. Proficiency in preparing legal documents and pleadings.
4. Experience with e-discovery and document review processes.
5. Strong knowledge of the trial preparation and litigation support processes.
6. Excellent legal writing skills.
7. Proven experience in case management and organization.
8. Ability to provide legal assistance under the guidance of an attorney.
9. Experience in drafting motions and pleadings.
10. Proficiency in legal administration and office management.
11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
