Hudson Allergy provides patients with world-class, expert medical care in a comfortable and inviting environment in Manhattan. We treat a variety of allergy and immunology diseases. We have three convenient locations: Tribeca, Flatiron, and Grand Central.
We looking for an amazing seasoned, matured medical receptionist that can answer 50 calls per day while checking in or out patients and mastering the art of multitasking.

We provide a full range of state of the art allergy and asthma services including, allergen skin testing, contact allergen patch testing, allergen immunotherapy (allergy shots), desensitization, medication allergy testing, food allergy testing, and food challenges.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check-in Process…
Provide a courteous and professional initial encounter for incoming patients
Ensure patient intake forms are completed correctly
Update/collect patient insurance card and photo ID
Update/obtain patient demographic information
Collect the patient’s co-payment and/or outstanding balances
Check-out Process…
Collect consultation fee for out of network patients
Co-payments/balances not collected at check-in are to be collected upon check-out
Monitor physicians’ schedules via Advanced MD for changes and/or updates one day prior to patient’s appointment.
Complete end of day close
QUALIFICATIONS:
General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems (i.e. Word, Excel & Outlook are required)
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain standard billing charges and fees.
Ability to handle high stress, busy work environment.
Knowledge of Advanced MD practice management system a plus.
Previous medical office/allergy practice experience a plus.
Pleasant, professional, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask.
