About the Position
Lane County Behavior Health is looking for a highly trained Mental Health Clinician for our Forensic Intensive Treatment Team (FITT) to liaison with community housing partners to ensure the success of FITT clients enrolled in housing services. This person will provide mental health screenings, short -term treatment and care coordination services to individuals that have been referred for service. Though frequently referred through the criminal justice system including law enforcement and the courts, many referrals come from other emergency systems as well as low-barrier community housing programs seeking to support the mental health of the residents.
This position involves working with a team of clinicians and case workers who go into the community to engage people in social and mental health services where they are. The work is done collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes mental health clinicians, peer support specialists, case managers, a nurse and psychiatrist as well as partner with other social service providers in the community.
For this recruitment we are looking for individuals with a passion to serve adults with severe and persistent mental health needs who are also involved in the criminal justice system. This position requires a QMHP Certification. If you are driven to serve, this is the job for you!
