Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager

Job Overview: As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the hotel's brand presence, drive revenue growth, and maintain exceptional guest satisfaction. You will lead the development of marketing campaigns, manage all communications channels, and ensure alignment with the hotel's brand identity and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to define marketing objectives and strategies aligned with the hotel's business goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitors' activities.
  1. Campaign Planning and Execution:

  • Create comprehensive marketing plans and budgets for promotional activities, special events, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to develop creative assets, including print materials, digital content, and advertisements.
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as social media, email marketing, website, and print media.
  1. Brand Management:

  • Safeguard and enhance the hotel's brand reputation by ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and guest experience.
  • Develop brand guidelines and standards to maintain a cohesive brand image across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor online reviews and feedback, responding promptly to guest inquiries and addressing any issues to maintain positive sentiment.
  1. Digital Marketing and Social Media:

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
  • Manage the hotel's presence on social media platforms, creating engaging content, fostering community engagement, and monitoring performance metrics.
  1. Public Relations and Communications:

  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate positive press coverage and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the relationship with third-party PR agencies and conduct weekly calls and monthly performance reviews
  • Act as a spokesperson for the hotel, representing its interests in media interviews and public appearances.
  1. Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of marketing campaigns, website traffic, and social media engagement.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences and platforms.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and branding aesthetics.
