Hospice Care Partners is Hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) - Hospice Near Arlington, TX

Full-Time Hospice Director of Nursing & Clinical Operations (Home & Facility)

Seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and driven Director of Nursing & Clinical Operations to join our Clinician owned and operated Hospice Company.

The Director of Nursing & Clinical Operations (DNCO) is a registered professional nurse who ensures quality of patient care in the home. The primary function of the DNCO is for the overall administration of the clinical departments and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity. In addition to administrative oversight of the clinical staff (including RN Case Managers, Nurse Aides, Social Workers, Chaplain/Bereavement Coordinators) and Volunteers, the DNCO may additionally maintain a regular caseload as dictated by the needs of the agency. The DNCO will professionally and effectively coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patient, family, and referring agencies. The DNCO will also monitor and analyzes QAPI issues and direct clinical staff regarding agency policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of hospice case management experience and 1 years of management experience in hospice
  • TX RN license that is current and unencumbered
  • Reliable transportation with current insurance coverage
  • Current CPR
  • Current TB test with negative result or the equivalent
  • Available to see patients and conduct regular supervisory visits within our agency's service area (Arlington, Fort Worth, Mid-Cities, Mansfield, South Dallas, and Ennis)
  • Available to work 1 weekend of On-Call per month
  • EMR experience, Consolo experience a plus.
