Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Chillicothe, OH billing team.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing third party claims, including cross-over insurance claims. Review patient accounts for potential sliding fee scale discount. Processing payments received by patients and third party through mail. Issue and track refunds to patients and insurance companies. Communicate with patients and insurance companies concerning patient’s accounts. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will also be responsible for preparing bank deposits for our Chillicothe site. Running monthly reports to determine delinquent claims. Other duties will include the following:
