Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rooms Division Manager to oversee the operations of our Front Desk and Housekeeping Departments. As a Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of multiple departments within our company. This is a leadership role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk and Housekeeping Departments, ensuring efficient and effective performance
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenses, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with other managers to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to department associates, assisting them in resolving any issues or challenges that arise
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for department associates and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and associate development
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in managing teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in front desk operations, guest relations, and phone etiquette -Proficient in Housekeeping operations and procedures -Knowledge of inventory management and supply management
- Knowledge of hotel management principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with phone systems used in hospitality industry
- Understanding of revenue management concepts
- Bilingual skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of human resources practices (preferred)
