Job Summary
Our client, a leader in SaaS innovation for post-acute healthcare, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Manager to support the company's growth and oversee the revenue cycle. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Manager will be essential to the finance function, leading a small team and maintaining the company’s contract-to-cash billing system. Responsibilities include overseeing the accounts receivable and collections process, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition per ASC 606 standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue accounting procedures.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Collections team
• Administer and manage Contract to Cash (HCP's subscription management system) to ensure accurate and timely collections and reporting of revenue and AR KPIs
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards
• Oversee the commission accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Rev Ops teams, to streamline revenue accounting procedures
• Oversee collections efforts to maintain DSOs (Days Sales Outstanding) within company standards
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the revenue accounting process
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports related to revenue

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
• Familiarity with sales tax applicable to the software industry
• Experience leading a revenue accounting function in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its application in revenue accounting
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Experience with Zuora and Salesforce strongly preferred
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
