What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Collections team.
- Administer and manage Contract to Cash (HCP's subscription management system), ensuring accurate and timely collections and reporting of revenue and AR KPIs.
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
- Oversee the commission accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue accounting procedures, including Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Rev Ops teams.
- Oversee collections efforts to maintain DSOs within company standards.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the revenue accounting process.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports related to revenue.
- Able to work in our Tampa, FL office, Monday-Friday.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a SAAS environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Familiarity with sales tax applicable to the software industry.
- Experience leading a revenue accounting function in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its application in revenue accounting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Experience with Zuora and Salesforce strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
