Duties
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Implement behavior management techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients.
Skills
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Ability to lift and move clients safely.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Competent in medication administration procedures.
- Understanding of assisted living principles and practices.
- Ability to take accurate vital signs measurements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
