- You must be a California resident and drive your own vehicle.
- As a live-in caregiver with Salus Homecare, you will reside in the client's home to provide round-the-clock, comprehensive care and support.
- This role includes a variety of non-medical services such as companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and personal care, ensuring the client's comfort and well-being at all times.
- Provide continuous, compassionate live-in care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Maintain effective communication and a positive relationship with the client, their family, and the Salus Homecare team.
- Prepare meals and monitor dietary needs.
- Offer timely medication reminders.
- Conduct light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, and laundry.
- Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide transportation for appointments and outings using your own car.
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or needs
- Home Care Aide (HCA) registration number.
- Minimum of 3 years of caregiver experience, preferably in a live-in setting.
- A compassionate, caring, and patient demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently within a client's home.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation (own car).
- CPR and First Aid certifications are highly regarded.
- Highly competitive daily pay of $550.
