Adult Day Healthcare Center (ADHC) - Our ADHC provides high level services to elderly seniors in the LA County area. Some of the services include free breakfast and lunch, arts and crafts, physical therapy, social work assistance, mentally stimulating activities, and much more. We are looking for an individual with a CAN-DO attitude, combined with the drive to grow within our company. Please read carefully:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide transportation for multiple participants to and from the ADHC Facility, located in Long Beach.
• Assist participants in getting on and off the vehicle in a safe manner.
• Properly screen patients before entering the vehicle.
• Log the pick-up and drop off time for each participant as they enter and exit the vehicle.
• Maintain the vehicle up to par with cleanliness, a filled gas tank, and tire pressure.
• Ensure a comfortable environment and safe space for all participants in the vehicle.
• Once all participants arrive at the ADHC, assist with translation and activities for Khmer-speaking participants.
• Help participants with activities such as coloring, arts and crafts, chair exercises, etc.
• Participates in-service trainings as required by State, facility and health plan regulations.
• Communicates necessary information to ADHC leadership team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two (2) years of driving experience with a strong preference to experience working with senior adults with special needs.
• Khmer speaking preferred.
• Physically equipped to perform regular duties as assigned.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to maintain standards protecting patient confidentiality
• Valid CA License
• Must be detail oriented and organized

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.78 - $19.00 per hour
