Description:

• The Resource Coordinator serves the unit to ensure clinical staff have the necessary resources to meet patient needs as a materials, supply, and equipment processing and maintenance resource person for the nursing staff and works closely with the Materials Management, Maintenance, Purchasing, Engineering, and Environmental Services departments as well as outside vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure sufficient equipment and supply availability on each unit.
• Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining all unit equipment in working condition.
• This position is also responsible for conducting unit safety rounds and for resolving any safety or aesthetic environmental problems within the unit. This position supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital through its focus on improving the experience of the patient.
