The Holiday Inn & Suites in Jeff City is looking for success minded individuals to join our housekeeping department. This is a great way to gain more experience in the hospitality industry and build leadership experience. We are currently ranked in the top 20 in cleanliness out of all IHG hotels in the United States. Great environment and great place to work. As housekeeping supervisor you will be tasked with cleaning rooms and training new housekeepers.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or housekeeping role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, commercial cleaning techniques
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, guests, and other departments
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
