We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
-***Training new housekeeping staff***
- Manage and supervise department staff, including training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, provide feedback, and address concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized department
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in hospitality or housekeeping management preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques
