**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of 3 hotels in Charleston, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive each hotel's financial strategy and growth.

**Responsibilities:**

- Implement financial policies, procedures, and controls

- Manage and monitor all accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Accounting Standards (IAS)

- Conduct profit loss analysis and provide recommendations for improvement

- Lead fiscal management efforts to optimize financial performance

- Oversee risk management strategies to safeguard company assets

- Collaborate with Hotel operations teams to drive revenue growth

- Provide guidance on financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

- Implement accrual accounting practices for accurate financial reporting

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

- Proven experience as a Director of Finance or similar role within the hotel industry

- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations

- Strong understanding of business development strategies

- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
