We are looking for a full time Night Auditor to make our team complete. The hours for this shift are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. A night auditor is responsible for assisting guests with their overnight requests and balancing accounts from the day.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete daily check list.
• Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
• Registers arriving guests and assigns rooms.
• Monitors property and assures guest safety with minimal management oversight.
• Answers phones and takes messages if needed.
• Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.
• Coordinates guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division.
• Makes sure that all guests folios are correct with valid method of payment.
• Reconciles all postings and activities from the day.
• Knows cancelation and other policies of the hotel.
• Uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
• Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
• Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager as well as in Quore and daily shift report.
• Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions.
• Maintains customers’ privacy.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Night Auditor must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and they should be able to coordinate and manage all types of people. Other skills and qualifications include customer service, math and basic bookkeeping skills, as well as the ability to perform computer-based tasks such as data entry, accounting, word processing, invoicing and billing.
